JANDLES OPENS IN GULF BREEZE Jandles sells high-end candles made from 100 percent palm wax that are made right in the tropical-themed store.

The candles come in more than 70 different scents, such as lemon grass sage and fresh cut roses, and they are available in a variety of sizes.

Jandles also sells indoor fountains and a variety of other gift items, such as wooden coastal carvings handmade by local artist Jeff Wheelock.

LOCAL ATTORNEY TO HELP LEAD AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION Crystal Spencer, Esq. was elected to the American Heart Association's Greater Southeast Affiliate board of directors at the organization's recent Leadership Summit in St. Petersburg. She is slated to serve on the board during the association's 2008-2009 fiscal year.

Spencer is a partner with Lozier, Thames, Frazier, Spencer & Schlieter, P.A., specializing in Medical Malpractice Defense. She has devoted her time to the American Heart Association since 2002. Spencer has been especially devoted to helping Pensacola achieve Heart Ready status through the placement of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in first responder vehicles and area schools.

The American Heart Association's Greater Southeast Affiliate services Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Puerto Rico.

Spencer was also named a "Florida Super Lawyer-Securities Litigation" in 2006. She is chair of the Pensacola Charter Review Commission.

She resides in Pensacola with her husband, Brian K. Spencer.

WAVENET TECHNOLOGIES TO HOST FREE DISASTER RECOVERY SOLUTIONS SEMINAR Senior Engineer Paul Shave will present the seminar from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, at WAVEnet Technologies Inc., 106 E. Gregory St.

Shave will discuss how to prepare for disasters, and the most effective ways to store and backup data both on-site and off-site. He will also speak on tapeless disk-to-disk backup solutions and the quickest, most efficient ways to restore data from any type of server crash or loss.

CHAMBER ANNOUNCES SMALL BUSINESS OF THE MONTH FOR JUNE The Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce recognizes Big Rhino Screen Printing as the Small Business of the Month.

Launched in 1992, Big Rhino Screen Printing produces high quality, art driven T-shirts and professional Pensacola produced embroidery. The company has six full-time employees, and part-time help will be hired to assist during the busy season.

Big Rhino Screen Printing opened in 1992 with one employee, David Presnell, who, with the help of his father, Dave Sr., began printing T-shirts at their first location in Downtown Pensacola.
